Every sign we make is laser cut from 16 gauge American steel, deburred, powder coated and cured. That is four separate steps, and the powder coat has to fully cure before anything ships. Here is what that means on a calendar:
- Production: 2-5 business days
- Shipping within the US: 3-7 days
- Total, worst case: about 12 days door to door
Order by December 12 to have it under the tree. That date already has the worst case built into it. Order after that and you are relying on luck and carrier volume in the busiest two weeks of the year, which is not a plan.
If you are reading this in September or October, you are in the comfortable part of the year. Order now and it arrives long before you need to think about wrapping it.
For the family that wants their name on the wall
This is the gift most people are actually looking for and cannot name. A last name, cut in steel, hung in an entryway. It does not go in a drawer because it is not a thing - it is their name.
